Rio Grande Scenic Railroad

Alamosa, CO
More than 100 years after completion of the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad line into Alamosa, the same standard gauge rails are still in use, carrying both freight and passengers over La Veta Pass on the San Luis & Rio Grande Railroad and the Rio Grande Scenic Railroad.

The Rio Grande Railroad also offers the one-of-a-kind Mountain Rails Live Concert series. Ride the train from Alamosa or La Veta to the Fir Concert site, a concert venue that is completely green, high in the Rocky Mountains. For more info and the complete concert series line up, check out the "More Details" tab below.
