Lone Wolf Cabins offer 1,2 and 3 bedroom cabins situated amoung pine, spruce and aspen trees. Located 22 miles northeast of Durango at Vallecito Lake. All cabins have fuly equipped kitchens with wood stoves or fireplaces. Wood is provided. Wi-Fi Zone.

CABIN #2: Perfect for a couple or small family - has 512 square feet excluding the front deck and was also built in 1985. It is a one bedroom with queen bed plus a queen sleeper sofa in the living area. The fully equipped kitchen and dining alcove are part of the large living area. This unit can sleep up to four guests. There is 1 bath with tub/shower combination and a wood burning stove in the living area.

Cabin # 5: With a washer/dryer and dishwasher one of these cabins is the perfect choice for an extended stay - CABINS #5 and #6 are a duplex unit. Each unit has 704 square feet of space - that's a big cabin, more like an apartment. The bedrooms and living rooms are on opposite ends of the building. An oversize bedroom with a queen bed plus a large bath with an oversize shower. This building was built in 1993 and has all the modern features. The utility room has a washer and dryer, and the living room has a sleeper sofa The fully equipped kitchen has a dishwasher. There is separate dining area too. There are no wood burning stoves in these cabins.

CABIN #4: The cozy feeling of this log cabin will stay with your for years - is a real gem. A one-of-a-kind log cabin - the only one like it in the valley. This log cabin, built in the 50's has 750 square feet of living space with a native stone fireplace centered on the front room. We renovated this cabin, improving the insulation, redoing the bathroom, etc. in 2001 but the 1950's vintage gas range is what you'll be cooking on. There are 2 bedrooms - one has a queen bed the other has two full/double beds. There is one full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Sleeps up to six persons.

Cabin # 1: Was built in 1985. It is has 720 square feet not including the front deck. There are 2 bedrooms equipped with queen size beds, plus a queen sleeper sofa in the spacious living room. There is a fully equipped kitchen adjacent to the dining area. This cabin can sleep up to six people. It has 1 bath with tub/shower and a wood burning stove in the living room.

CABIN #3: With an extra large kitchen and dining area this cabin is perfect for the large family or group and can easily become the headquarters for your vacation gathering - is our largest cabin. This cabin has 1,068 square feet with 3 bedrooms, all with queen size beds, and a huge living room which has two queen sleeper sofas plus overstuffed chairs. This 3 bedroom cabin can sleep up to ten guests. There is one full bath with tub/shower combination plus another half bath. Also built in 1985, it has a deck and a wood burning stove. There is even a dishwasher to help make cleanup after the gathering easier.

This three bedroom one and one half bath home is perched on the side of a mountain overlooking Vallecito Lake. Plenty of pine trees surround this home which is located at the end of a lane. There is a great view of the lake and mountains across the valley. Secluded and quiet.
This home has 3 bedrooms. One with a queen bed, one with a full bed and the third has two twin beds. There is a full bath off the hall and a 1/2 bath off one of the bedrooms. The great room consists of a dining area, kitchen and living area . It is completely furnished and equipped with washer, dryer, linens, towels, kitchen and table utensils, coffee pot, toaster, microwave, TV's and VCR plus a trash compactor.
Outside the back door is a large deck facing east, which can make for many pleasant quiet afternoons relaxing, enjoying the views and watching the wildlife.

- Near the center of Durango find 15th Street , also known as C.R. 240 and Florida road. (15th St. is across Main Street from the Burger King.) Follow it easterly about 14 miles until you reach C.R. 501. Turn left (north) and follow it to the lake and Lone Wolf Lodge.

- Front Desk available from 9am to 9pm. If you plan to arrive outside these times - please call Lone Wolf to make arrangements
- Cancellation
- If you cancel 30 or more days before your arrival, your deposit will be refunded in full less a $25 cancellation fee. If you cancel less than 30 days before your arrival, your deposit refund will be subject to our ability to re-rent your cabin. A proportional refund will be given if we can re-rent a portion of the time. The $25 cancellation fee will also be applied in this case.
