Soaring Tree Top Adventures is an extreme day-long canopy tour and thrill ride for guests of all ages. The Durango Soaring Tree Top Adventure is great for all ages (5 - 91yrs old) but does require a minimum of 50lbs and a maximum of 280lbs for your safety. This incredible adventure is truly first-class and an experience like no other.
Start your day with one of Durango's most popular attractions, the historic coal fired steam engine aboard the famous Durango and Silverton Railroad. Aboard that train, you will enjoy the First Class Tall Timber Legend and Tall Timber Legacy cars which are an unforgettable experience all their own. Soaring guests will check-in with a Soaring® representative upon boarding their train car and may sit where they choose in these beautifully appointed train cars. Unlike other First Class seating options, Soaring's® First Class cars are open to guests of all ages. Your First Class train tickets are included in the Soaring® price and your train reservations are made upon your booking. You will travel through the pristine San Juan Mountain wilderness and enjoy the sights and sounds of yesteryear with high-country that has remained relatively the same for hundreds of years.
After your train ride, you will arrive at the Tall Timber stop where your friendly guides will greet you and get you all set for a day of adventure. The all-day zipline course allows guests to traverse cables as they glide through the air like birds from tree to tree, on a network of stainless steel platforms high in the Ponderosa Pine canopy. The canopy tour eco-adventure consists of over 24 zipline spanning through alpine mountains, Aspen forests and across the beautiful Animas River. This adventure is a fun and safe zip line experience for the whole family, and is a great outdoor activity for kids, families, and adventure seekers looking for a unique Durango adventure.
