Durango's competitive Independent Film Festival, held February 29, 2012 to March 4, 2012 will connect Durango to the world through film. This five day event will showcase the best in independent film including; live action and animated shorts, documentaries, family, adventure sport, and narrative feature films.

The Durango Independent Film Festival is committed to film literacy and being a welcoming, intimate, and unique film organization that screens global, innovative, and diverse films which connect independent filmmakers, their artistic process, and their vision to the community.
