The Durango Mine Shaft is conveniently located 10 miles north of Durango and only 15 miles from Durango Mountain Resort. Nestled in the tall pines, the house sleeps 8 -12 comfortably with 3 bedrooms + a loft, and 2 baths. There is a King in the master, 2 twins in the 2nd Bedroom, a Queen in the 3rd, a Full bed in the open loft and a Sleeper Sofa. There is a gourmet kitchen complete with a Viking stove and granite counter-tops, as well as a hot tub to warm you up apres ski!

The Durango Mine Shaft, a vacation rental in the Animas Valley in Durango, is the definition of a Colorado home and is conveniently located 10 miles north of Durango and only 15 miles from Durango Mountain Resort. Nestled in the pines and bordered by a seasonal creek views or access to the 6 person hot tub, the house sleeps 12 with 3 bedrooms, loft, and 2 baths.
Indoors, light a fire and make your gourmet meal in the kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and a Viking stove. WI-FI and cable TV mean you don't lose touch with the world, unless you want to! This home is set back off the road, very private, and quiet and there is a hiking trail out the back door.

- From Durango proceed North on Highway 550 for approx. 7 miles. You will come to a crossroad called Trimble Lane (Dalton Golf Course will be on your right). Turn left and go approx. 200 yards to the "T" junction. Turn right and proceed North past Trimble Hot Springs Spa for one half mile. The address is: 6867 CR 203 and the driveway will be on the left.

- There is a 3 night minimum. We require a $500 deposit per week of stay. There is also a $200 cleaning fee.
- Cancellation
- A 50% deposit is required upon booking and is non-refundable once booked. Reservation is fully non-refundable if canceled within 30 days prior to arrival.
- Deposit
- A 50% deposit is required upon booking which is non-refundable once booked. Final payment due 30 days prior to arrival.
- Check In
- Is after 3p.m. on the day of arrival, unless prior arrangements have been made.
- Check Out
- Is 12p.m. on the last day.
- Pets
- Pets allowed with a $75.00 fee which is not refundable.
- Other
- Cancellation - $200 of initial deposit is non-refundable once booked. Reservation is non-refundable if canceled within 30 days prior to arrival.
