Welcome to the Durango Dream House, located perfectly between Historic Downtown Durango and Durango Mountain Resort at Dalton Ranch in the incredible Hermosa Valley. The home is a newly opened and beautifully furnished, single-level ranch with all the amenities you and your family or friends will need for a very relaxing vacation.


The home features a fantastic TV/family room to relax in after a day on the slopes or on the golf course. A 37" flat screen TV and gas fireplace make this a great spot to relax and watch the game or just admire the incredible views.


The kitchen features a center island/bar, and gas stove that is open to the family room for the perfect spot to entertain. Everything you need for putting together a great meal is provided for your convenience. The breakfast nook is located off the kitchen for morning coffee or a quick bite to eat before heading out for the day. Off of the kitchen we feature a back patio that is equipped with a gas grill and views of the Red Cliffs of Hermosa that you will love to use with your family or friends at the end of the day.


The dining room is set up for a casual dinner or fine dining whether you're cooking or having a catered dinner for you and your family. The living room features a relaxing cozy area with an oversized chair to sit back and read a book or enjoy a glass of wine while gazing at the views of the western cliffs of Hermosa.


The master suite has a king bed, 32" flat screen TV and a large bathroom that features a glassed in shower and jacuzzi tub. Twin sinks and an oversized walk in closet for clothes and storage round out the suite. A second bedroom is equipped with a queen bed, beautiful new dresser and large closet. The third bedroom has two single beds for the kids or young adults. There is a second full bathroom conveniently located between the guest bedrooms. Ceiling fans are located throughout the entire house for a cool breeze in the evenings.


A fully equipped laundry room with washer and dryer for your convinience. We also feature a large garage with plenty of room for your skis, snowboards, golf clubs or bikes.


Location is everything when you're on vacation and you can't go wrong with this central locale. Located adjacent to Dalton Ranch Golf Course with superb golfing and an outstanding restaurant. The nearby Trimble Spa and Natural Hot Springs offers two therapy pools, an olympic swimming pool and massage services. Just minutes away is Trimble Crossing shopping center which has a gourmet food market, wine & spirit, and hardware store. Also close the the Animas River for excellent fly fishing or rafting. And enjoy the nearby San Juan National Forest for hiking, biking or wildlife viewing.


Just 10 minutes south is historic downtown Durango where you can board the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Train for a ride back in time, go river rafting, walk along the river trail, visit the eclectic shops and find over 100 eateries from casual to fine dining.


Just 20 minutes north is Durango Mountain Resort. Known by the locals as "Purgatory", this is a great ski resort that has skiing for beginners to black diamond experts. Purgatory offers year round activities from a sledding hill, to the Purgatory Plunge Zipline, sleigh rides, snowshoe tours, Nordic skiing, summer concerts, alpine slide, mini golf, climbing wall, and the list goes on and on. For the drive of a lifetime , don't miss the Million Dollar Highway circle tour which practically starts from the driveway. The drive will take you past some of the most beautiful country in America and historic towns like Silverton, Ouray (the Switzerland of America), Ridgeway and Telluride. And don't forget Mesa Verde National Park. The park is home to ancient dwellings built by Ancestral Puebloan Indians around 600 A.D. and designated the #1 Monument in the World by Conde Naste Traveler.

The guest unit is the perfect spot if there are more than 10 people in your group or if you just need a house for 6. This three bedroom, two bathroom, fully stocked kitchen house also features a large LCD television and DVD, and gorgeous furnishings. House features a Master bedroom with queen bed, private bath and walk-in closet and incredible views of the Hermosa valley. Second bedroom is furnished with a queen bed. Third bedroom is equipped with a trundle bed that can sleep two guests. Second bathroom is conveniently located between the two bedrooms. Great house for wedding parties getting ready for the big day. This unit can rented with the Main House or on its own.
