Four Mile Creek Bed and Breakfast

Four Mile Creek Bed and Breakfast, once the headquarters of the Four Mile Ranch, is located in a quiet valley near Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Homesteaded in 1885, the Four Mile Ranch is listed in the National Registry of Historic Sites. Four Mile Creek runs year round near the main house and two log cabins. Two rooms are available in the main house. As you approach Four Mile Creek B&B, a large red barn built in 1919 will capture your attention. The grounds offer pleasant strolls through aspen groves, herb and flower gardens with llamas and goats grazing nearby.

The Blackbird Room, named for the wrought iron blackbirds that perch on the queen sized bed, is furnished to give a hint of the days of Colorado's boom towns. A certain elegance that went with the mining fortunes of early Colorado is enhanced with dusty rose linens.

The Creekside log cabin is charming and self sufficient, with a private bath and full kitchen. A queen sized bed and a double futon sofa/bed make the cabin a comfortable space for a family of four. Log beams and barnwood walls are accented by a brightly colored bird chandelier. Enjoy sleeping to the sound of Four Mile Creek flowing just outside the windows.

- From downtown Glenwood Springs, follow highway 82 South until it veers left (to Aspen) continue on 82 to the next traffic signal (27th Street) Turn right and proceed 1/4 mile to the bridge crossing the Roaring Fork River. Cross the bridge and stay on the main road until you pass the Conoco Mountain Market.
County Rd. 117 ( Four Mile Rd)
forks to the right about 1/4 mile past the market. Proceed 5 miles up Four Mile Road. You'll see our big red barn with a Circle 4M
brand painted on it. Turn in just past the barn. From Aspen turn left on 27th st. (first traffic light past McDonalds) and follow directions above.
