Kids and kids-at-heart will love playing with our animals and learning how ethical, sustainable agricultural practices are making a difference in their lives – and yours!
Ever seen a mobile chicken coop? Watched Great Pyrenees dogs care for a flock? You can at Fox Fire Farms. A visit to our free-range flock is just one of many interesting things to do during your tour.
Stroll the vineyards, sample grapes, and taste our wine.* Our organic vineyards are home to an array of wildlife that exists in a mutually beneficial symbiotic relationship with the grapes. Walk among the vines and let the bees and birds transport you away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Fox Fire Farms is a soothing place to spend the day, resting your spirit and reconnecting with nature. Bring your own glass, or purchase a souvenir glass from Fox Fire Farms during your visit.
Tour a one-room school house. From 1908, when it was built, until the 1930s, Lower Spring Creek School was an important part of life at Fox Fire Farms. Grandmother Parry and her sister, Evelyn attended school there, and Evelyn taught at the schoolhouse after she grew up. Today, the historic school house is being restored to provide a secluded retreat for Fox Fire Farms guests.
Sample our exceptional products. Taste for yourself why world-renowned chef Alice Waters chose to prepare Fox Fire Farms meats at the 2008 Aspen Ideas Festival. Since our animals spend their whole lives eating a nutritionally rich diet from our lush pastures, they produce meat and eggs with an exceptional flavor unique to our farm. Try our in-season delicacies and have your favorites shipped home to share with your family.
