As ski season quickly approaches (Durango Mountain Resort opens November 29th!!!), I’m reminded of all the wonderful things to see and do in Durango in addition to skiing! If you’re planning your trip before ski season, there’s lots to do in the area to keep you entertained in the month of November!
Soak your cares away at Trimble Hot Springs, and treat yourself to a massage while you’re there.
Take the short 30 minute drive to Ignacio to visit Sky Ute Casino and try your hand at the slots! And be sure to visit the Southern Ute Cultural Center and Museum while you’re there.
Here’s one for the ‘bucket list’–Hot Air Ballooning! This adventurous trip is sure to be one you’ll never forget.
Check out Fort Lewis College Community Concert Hall for upcoming holiday performances. And join us for our annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner! The more the merrier!
Stroll down Main Avenue and browse the many art galleries, shops, and incredible local cuisine!
If you’re here with the kids, fun awaits! Take them ice skating at Chapman Hill, or to one of our many kid friendly museums.
Give us a call at Gateway Reservations, and we’ll take care of all the details. We can’t wait to welcome you to Durango!
