About Winter Park Resort
Winter Park Resort is Colorado’s longest continually operated ski resort in Colorado and the 2014/2015 season marks Winter Park Resort’s 75th season. Winter Park features over 3,078 acres of award-winning terrain including groomers, terrain parks, bumps, steeps, trees, and most definitely – deeps.
With 142 designated trails, 25 Lifts and 1,212 acres (490 hectares) of off-piste terrain, including Vasquez Cirque and glade skiing, Winter Park offers something for every skiier level! The expert terrain, 53% of the mountain, is made up of a combination of the Mary Jane Mountain (the best expert mogul skiing in the USA) and Vasquez Cirque (the most extreme terrain in Colorado). Our beginner terrain, 8% of the mountain, includes Discovery Park, which has been rated as one of the top five places to learn to ski in America. 17% of the mountain is intermediate and provides plenty of wide groomed cruisers for the intermediate skiers who visit our resort, while the remaining 19% consists of advanced blue-black trails.
Winter Park Resort consists of Seven Distinct Territories: Winter Park, Mary Jane, Parsenn Bowl, Vasquez Ridge, Eagle Wind, The Cirque and The Terrain Park—making it the fourth largest ski resort in Colorado. A network of trails and lifts interconnects the five distinct sections of each mountain.
