Come and see a variety of independent films, discussions with directors, and more! Durango’s Film Festival has been around since 2001 – providing the Four Corners area with an affordable and accessible way to view great cinema. From shorts to feature-length films, DIFF has something for everyone.

Women Outside Adventure Forum: March 27-29, 2018

Come find out why so many people love the outdoors and Durango by taking part in this fantastic outdoors series. From the Women Outside website: “The third annual Women Outside Adventure Forum by Backcountry Experience is coming March 2018! We’re setting out to empower and inspire women of all ages (and men, too!) with a rock star lineup of female runners, climbers, skiers, writers, and all-around adventurers. This year’s theme is Wild Places & Open Spaces, so we’ll hit topics like public lands, rafting and river health, climate change, and other conservation topics.”


Durango Bluegrass Meltdown: April 20 -22, 2018

Come and enjoy live music all over Durango for the 24th annual Durango Bluegrass Meltdown! You’ve heard of Snowdown, come visit for the Meltdown and welcome in the spring with lively music. During the Meltdown, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to jam with other musicians – in hallways, on sidewalks, and many other locations. Don’t play? Relax and enjoy the scene! The Durango Meltdown even has children’s workshops so even the youngest can enjoy a jam sesh.

Durango Wine Experience: May 3-5, 2018

Are you a wino? If so, this event is tailor-made just for you! With over 3 days of seminars, wine tastings, and culinary adventures, the Durango Wine Experience brings the best of the best in wine (and beer!) from all over. Take part in the Walk-About Durango and visit multiple locations in downtown Durango for wine tasting. At the Grand Tasting, local chefs are showcased as well as the finest wineries, distributors, breweries, and distilleries from around the world.

Durango Youth Soccer Association Shootout: May 11-13, 2018

Teams from all over the Four Corners gather in Durango for a weekend in May. It is one of the biggest sports tournaments our town has and, if you have any littles, it is a great weekend to get them out experiencing this fun sport. We are the official source for lodging reservations for this event and are always so excited to support so many wonderful budding athletes!

Iron Horse Bicycle Classic: May 25 – 27, 2018

Celebrating over 100 years of cycling in Durango, the Iron Horse Bicycle Classic is one of the most well-known and beloved cycle races in the U.S. Drawing crowds from all over the United States, the IHBC has three days full of cycling events. Watch as teams compete cycling courses through restaurants and downtown Durango, ride the train as cyclists race to beat the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad from Durango to Silverton, and so much more. From kids to adults, this event is one of the biggest and kicks off our summer season with a bang!
